Neon Drift Circuit

Neon Drift Circuit is pure arcade fun. No fiddly simulation here — you hold to accelerate, tap to drift, and chain corners for speed boosts. Races are short, which suits phone sessions, and the sense of speed is genuinely good.

Control-wise, it offers tilt steering or on-screen buttons. I much preferred the buttons; tilt felt twitchy on a train. There's also a sensitivity slider that's worth tweaking. Performance was smooth at sixty frames on our newer phone but dropped on the older one unless we lowered the resolution. Expect decent battery drain during long play — this is a game that works the GPU.

It won't change your life, but it's a great five-minute pick-me-up.
